Maternity sessions can take place any time you would like, however the typical time to schedule these sessions is around 30-36 weeks. Fresh 48 sessions take place in the hospital or birthing center room within 48 hours of your baby’s birth. After you are admitted into the hospital, I have my mom-to-be’s shoot me a quick text letting me know they will soon be having the baby. After your new little one arrives, let me know as soon as you can so I can schedule a time to come by to document his/her first few hours of life. If possible, schedule older siblings to arrive for the first time while I’m there so we can capture those special moments. These sessions last about 45 minutes to an hour and are more documentary-styled images.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Newborn” tab_id=”1452787565478-fd71fbae-b65c”][vc_column_text]$250 Creative Fee
Newborns are best photographed within the first 5-14 days of life. This ensures your milk has come in (if breastfeeding) so we can get his/her belly good and full to get you those adorable sleeping shots. I do have props for these sessions including hats and tie-backs. If you have any props you’d like to incorporate, please let me know in your pre-consultation questionnaire. What an awesome way to document your little one’s first birthday! We can either do a themed cake smash or we can base your session off of some of your favorite colors. I have a local cake designer that I recommend to all of my sessions as she does an amazing job! Theses sessions last about an hour. With kids it is important to work quickly so we can capture those genuine smiles and fun expressions. I do my best to make your child feel at ease in front of the camera but you can feel free to bring a favorite toy or stuffed animal along. These are fun to incorporate into your child’s session and can help assist me in getting those amazing smiles! I know family sessions can be stressful, but I try to make them as relaxing and fun as possible. Theses sessions are about 1-1.5 hours and my goal is to get a variety of images including individuals of your children and a few photos of you and your spouse… cuz really… when was the last time you had professional photos of you two? ;-)[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Seniors” tab_id=”1452787566488-5f9978ca-bb19″][vc_column_text]These sessions are all about your senior! What hobbies do they have? Are they an athlete? Let’s incorporate these things in his/her session. In your pre-consultation questionnaire you will let me know more about your senior so we can tailor these sessions to your senior. If you are interested in hair and make-up for your senior girl, let me know and I’ll send you some recommendations! Senior sessions take about 2-3 hours.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]What to Expect
Pre-consultation: After inquiring about a session, you will receive a pre-consultation questionnaire from me. This will not only tell me a little bit about your family but it will give me a better idea of what you are looking for during your session. After I receive your completed questionnaire, we will schedule a time to meet up for coffee (my personal favorite!) or arrange a time to talk on the phone. At that time we will discuss your session more in depth and if we meet in person you will be able to see some of my product samples and get an idea of what products you may be interested in. (See why it’s more fun to meet in person 😉 )
After your session: In about 2-3 weeks after your session we will schedule your in-person gallery reveal and ordering session. At this appointment I will show you a slideshow of your images, show some of the amazing products I offer, and then you will select what images and products you would like to order.
Receiving your order: This is the best part! After your order is paid in full, you will receive your products in about two to three weeks. Some custom designed products (such as albums) can take up to four weeks to arrive.
